Of rotting pumpkins, and another still life

So, we picked up pumpkins while returning from Knotts, and at the time all of the pumpkins looked sound.... 

But alas, I was wrong. One of my pumpkins was slowly rotting. I happened to actually touch it today, and it was a little... squishy.... 

Checked the others, so far so good.

And THANKFULLY it wasn't one of my stemmed beauties. 

So I carved me a pumpkin last night, and did a full blown still life..

And I fixed the photography problem!

Welcome October, how kind of you to come. 

I have missed you.

I'm looking forward to revealing my current project in development to you all, however: It isn't done yet.

It's killing me, the whole not talking about it thing. But I refuse to reveal it early as doing so could take all the fun out of it. However I will say this:

I think this is my signature prop this year. I think.

We'll see.

One Last thing
